Kaalii Cargill

Kaalii Cargill (6 June 1952 - ) is an Australian psychotherapist who co-founded Soul Centred Psychotherapy in the 1980s. This work introduced an alternative approach to counselling and psychotherapy that incorporated mythology, humanistic psychology, Jungian psychotherapy, and traditional mind body healing approaches. Her PhD research explored the mindbody connection in birth control, with a literature review encompassing psychology, history, mythology, and anthropology. Among the central concepts of Soul Centred Psychotherapy and Kaalii Cargill's research and writing is the vital importance of the life-giving power of women in gestation, childbirth and nurturing.

As well as a prolific writer, Kaalii is an artist, teacher, and facilitator of women's rituals.
